OuagaNet is a (501)-c-3 grass-root nonprofit organization based in Florida and which operates in rural areas of Burkina Faso, a poor French speaking country in West Africa.
As a grass-root organization we welcome anyone with ideas to help the organization fulfill its charitable mission in Burkina Faso.
As a result, many of our projects are initiated by goodwill people, volunteers and small churches and organizations. Our associates are benevolent people who lend their skills, talents and time to help fight extreme poverty.

Our philosophy consists of empowering the local villagers by providing them with the means to fight extreme poverty (goats to raise, seeds and trees to plant, rabbit to raise, medicine, etc.). We also train local villagers how to treat wounds and cuts, and how to plant seeds and apply fertilizers by using the help of volunteers’ agricultural agents in the country.
Our approach consists of implementing projects and providing feedback to our supporters in the form of videos and photos for every realization. We want our supporters to clearly see the impact of their actions whether it’s a donation of used clothing, medicine, purchasing goats for women, providing seeds, etc.
We do not rely on bigger corporations and governments for our actions. Extreme poverty is a society problem and it’s when people come heart to heart and hand to hand with a sense of love and compassion that we can effectively address the root cause of poverty.
